FLORIDA UTAH VAULT VAULT Dali Lemezan 9.825 Katelyn Mohr 9.825 Courtney Gladys 9.875 Stephanie McAllister 9.800 Nicole Elliss 9.925 Jamie Deetscreek 9.825 Maranda Smith 9.825 Daria Bijak 9.850 Ashanee Dickerson 9.875 Annie DiLuzio 9.800 Marissa King 9.900 Kyndal Robarts 9.900 VT: 49.400; Running: 49.400 VT: 49.200; Running: 98.375 Utah vault notes: Utah had a pretty good vault set, although only Kyndal Robarts totally stuck her landing. Katelyn Mohr looked good in her second collegiate vault. She had a small step back. Stephanie McAllister looked good in the air, but also took a step--slightly bigger than Kate's. Jamie Deetscreek had one of her better vaults in the air. Again, a step. Daria Bijak almost stuck the landing after her big, cool vault, but finally succumbed to gravity and took a small step back. Annie DiLuzio did not look as sharp as usual I didn't think. I don't know why I bother to hope for Kyndal Robarts to get a 10, especially on the road, when she can't even get one at home. That vault was a beauty.
BARS BARS Ashanee Dickerson 9.825 Kyndal Robarts 9.725 Marissa King 9.900 Jacquelyn Johnson 9.825 Alicia Goodwin 9.925 Stephanie McAllister 9.850 Amanda Castillo 9.950 Gael Mackie 9.775 Elizabeth Mahlich 9.875 Jamie Deetscreek 9.800 Maranda Smith 9.875 Daria Bijak 9.925 UB: 49.525; Running: 98.925 UB: 49.175; Running: 49.175 Utah bar notes: I think that first rotation was the fastest I've ever seen. Utah did a great job. Kyndal Robarts had what I thought was one of her best routines. My angle is bad for the handstands, so possibly she got a deduction there. She stuck her dismount. Jacq Johnson looked strong, fast and clean. She had a little lean on her landing, although I didn't see a step. Stephanie McAllister looked solid throughout. She didn't have any obvious deductions; overall a nice routine. I thought Gael Mackie's return routine was great. She did get a 9.85 from one judge. I thought she would get two of those. Jamie Deetscreek was waaay up on her release move off the top bar. She came up short on her final handstand. I think that's what cost her the tenths. Daria Bijak's routine was absolutely spectacular. I thought it looked like a 10.0.
BEAM BEAM Courtney Gladys 9.750 Stephanie McAllister 9.750 Elizabeth Mahlich 9.825 Cortni Beers 9.225 Rebekah Zaiser 9.850 Annie DiLuzio 9.850 Marissa King 9.900 Daria Bijak 9.850 Liz Green 9.800 Jamie Deetscreek 9.700 Ashanee Dickerson 9.825 Kyndal Robarts 9.700 BB: 49.200; Running: 148.125 BB: 48.850; Running: 196.500 Utah beam notes: Cortni Beers had gotten through her series and that no handed flip she does, but fell off after a leap. I cannot tell you the deductions on Annie DiLuzio and Daria Bijak's routines because they were absolutely perfectly executed. One judge gave Daria a 9.90, but the other a 9.80. I guess it's all in the angle. Jamie Deetscreek had a rare bungle in the middle of her routine, nearly tumbling. She made a balance check and finished clean. Kyndal Robarts must have missed a connection after a windmill, because the rest of her routine looked great and it wasn't an "almost fall" situation.
FLOOR FLOOR Liz Green 9.150 Jacquelyn Johnson 9.800 Amy Ferguson 9.875 Jamie Deetscreek 9.825 Randy Stageberg 9.850 Stephanie McAllister 9.850 Maranda Smith 9.875 Daria Bijak 9.900 Ashanee Dickerson 9.950 Kyndal Robarts 9.700 Marissa King 9.875 Annie DiLuzio 9.900 FX: 49.425; Running: 197.550 FX: 49.250; Running: 147.625 Utah floor notes: Jacq Johnson's routine looked very good, clean, good landings and height. She seemed to be ahead of her music, which caused some little pauses. Jamie Deetscreek's routine looked like vintage Jamie and she tied her season high of 9.825. Really a nice, clean routine. I think that was Stephanie McAllister's best routine of the year. She tied her career high of 9.85, but I liked it best so far. From my seat, Daria Bijak's floor routine was perfect. End of story. Kyndal Robarts had some trouble in warmups and they continued in her routine. She stumbled out of her way high double Arabian, then stepped out of bounds on her final pass. Just not as sharp as Kyndal usually is. Annie DiLuzio was on fire. What a great routine. Huge, clean leaps, so many twists my head was spinning. No one twists as much or as well as Annie!
